Regions of Egypt
Egypt is in the this end of the north of Africa and has an extension of something more about 1.000 square kilometers. There spreads from the Mediterranean coast, to the north, up to the Suez Canal, the Gulf of Suez and the Red sea, to the east. The state of Israel tunes in to the East of the Sinai, the south shares Libya its opposite west and Sudan.
Regional:
Cairo: The capital of Egypt and its surroundings, including Giza, Memphis, Saqqara, Abusir and Dahshur.
Alexandria: Placed in the Mediterranean Sea.
The Low Egypt: Formed by the region of the Delta, where the Nile joins with the Mediterranean Sea, in the north end of the country.
The Half Egypt.
Luxor: The showiest of this region there are its impressive temples and the Vale of the Kings.
The High Egypt: a series of impressive temples placed in the Nile, between Luxor and Aswan.
Aswan: The calm alternative to Cairo and Luxor.
The lake Nasser and Abu Simbel.
Western desert: Place of the western Oases, five impressive green plots in the middle of the desert.
