To move for Egypt

In Egypt, the infrastructures for tourists and travelers are good. There are no problems to find taxis, trains or buses. Normally, the transport is cheap. The taxis and buses cover more destinations that the trains, and they are almost always more agreeable of using, especially when its trip is parallel to that of the railroads. Generally, the trains are more advisable if you travel in the night and want to sleep.

In bus: Normally, the buses with air conditioning join most of parts of Egypt with Alexandria and Cairo. Also there are cheaper buses, but without air conditioning. Nevertheless, although the schedules of the buses can change without previous notice, the exits are so frequent that the changes do not suppose a big problem.

In train: The railroad network of Egypt was founded in 1851 with services by the Vale of the Nile up to Aswan, the cities of the Red sea, the Delta and the cities of the north coast of Alexandria and Mersa Matruth. There is at least half a dozen of trains per day in the main routes. The tariffs are cheap, but unless you go in an organized trip, you must buy the tickets in the main train stations.´

From the airport: The airports of Egypt have taxi service up to the center of the cities. The transport in Cairo also includes bus and limousine.

The official taxis of Cairo are white and black, but in Alexandria they are black and orange. Also there are Peugeot taxis in several colors and sizes, but they all have an emblem and number in the door of the driver. The tariffs are the same that those of the service of limousines.

The service of bus of the airport produces from the Terminal 1. The bus goes out when it is full and for in Midan Tahrir, in center of Cairo, in Mohandeseen, and along the highway of the Pyramids of Giza. Also there are regular city buses, but they are not advisable because they are too full for the foreigners.
