Church of Santa Barbara
The Church of Santa Barbara is one of the most famous Gothic churches. Also she is one of the most ancient of Cairo. It is in the part this of the fortitude of Babylonia and byline of the Vth century, although it was reconstructed about the XIth century.
Pyramids of Giza
The pyramids of Giza are the only one of seven marvels of the ancient world that has kept on preserving this title in the modern world also. Also there are one of the main tourist attractions of Egypt, although in Egypt there are about hundred pyramids. In this complex there are three pyramids: that of Keops, Kefren and Micerino.
Islamic art museum
This museum has one of the best collections of Islamic art, belonging to the period understood between the VIIth and XIXth centuries. Its rooms contain carved wood, Mosaic and other obtained architectural objects of different mosques and mausoleums of the whole Egypt.
Bazaar Khan Khalili
It is one of the most interesting bazaars of Egypt and even of the whole this way. It is famous for its slightly current and typically oriental souvenirs done generally to hand. The ambience of this traditional market, together with its streets labyrinth, allows to the visitor to glimpse what there were the medieval markets.
Mosque of the sultan Hassan
It was constructed between 1356 and 1363 and it includes a big courtyard, four schools of theology and a mausoleum flanked by enormous doors. Normally, the visitors must go in the morning, when the sun lights the dark mausoleum. It is one of the biggest mosques of the world, with a 7900 square meters extension.
Coptic museum
The Coptic monuments are considered to be a linkage between the Ancient Egypt, the periods grecorromanos and the Islamic age.
Pyramids of Dahshour
They are located to 30 kilometers to the south of the Giza pyramids. Although this area is not a tourist attraction so famous as the complex of Keops, Kefren and Micerino, also it evokes big part of the history of the Ancient Egypt.
Egyptian museum
The Egyptian Museum guards the biggest collection of objects of the Pharaonic epoch of the Ancient Egypt, with a whole of more than 120.000 classified objects. The works began in 1897 and it was inaugurated in 1902.
